What to Expect on a Sunday Morning

What about the Teaching?

We teach straight through the Bible with clarity and conviction. Sermons are text-driven, thoughtful, and practical—designed to help you understand what Scripture actually says and how it applies to real life.

Most sermons run about 40 minutes within an 80-minute service.

What is the Music like?

Our music is laid-back and Americana in feel. We sing songs that are theologically grounded and meant to be sung together—not performed at you.

What is the Dress and the Vibe?

Most people dress casually so t-shirts and jeans are normal. You’ll see some pullovers, very few dresses, and no pressure to look a certain way.

If you’re new, nobody will single you out or put you on the spot.

Kids and Students

Children’s Ministry

We offer children’s ministry during the service for:

  • Infants

  • Preschool

  • Grade School

Our goal is age-appropriate teaching that helps kids begin to understand the Bible in a safe, attentive environment.

Student Ministry

Our student ministry meets Sunday nights in homes. It’s relational, discussion-based, and focused on helping students think clearly about faith in everyday life.

Where We Are

675 W. Hidden Creek Parkway, Burleson, TX

Our building is located right next to Chisenhall Fields. Our name was formerly South Burleson Baptist Church, so your map might still be getting used to it.

Even though our name changed, our commitment to Scripture didn’t. Chisenhall Fellowship exists in continuity with that history while moving forward with clarity about who we are and who we’re trying to reach.

Is This Church for Me?

People usually come with quiet questions like:

  • Will I be judged?

  • Will I fit in?

  • Is this safe for my kids?

  • Will this actually help me grow?

We can’t promise everything will feel comfortable—but we can promise you’ll be welcomed, taught from the Bible, and invited into real community at your own pace.

Plan Your Visit

If you’re considering coming this Sunday, the simplest next step is just to show up.

A group of people gathered in a church sanctuary, singing and listening to a male musician playing an acoustic guitar on stage. The sanctuary has string lights hanging from the ceiling, two display screens on each side of the stage, and a sign on the front of the stage that reads 'THIS DO IN REMEMBRANCE OF ME.'
