Home Groups at Chisenhall Fellowship
Where people move from listening to building real friendships and real growth.
What is a Home Group?
A Home Group is a small gathering of people who meet regularly in homes to:
Open the Bible together
Pray honestly
Talk about real life
Carry each other through hard seasons
These aren’t therapy circles or surface-level hangouts. They’re ordinary people learning how to live faithfully, together.
Why Home Groups Matter
Sunday morning matters. But formation happens in proximity. Home Groups exist because:
Growth requires relationships
Faith needs friction to mature
Men and women need people who know their names
If you want to stay anonymous, a group will feel uncomfortable. If you want to grow, it will feel necessary.
Who Home Groups Are For?
Home Groups are for:
People new to Chisenhall Fellowship
Longtime members who want deeper roots
Men and women serious about following Christ
Anyone tired of playing church
You don’t need Bible answers. You don’t need your life together. You do need to show up.
What Home Groups Are Like?
Here’s what you can expect:
Size: 8–16 people
Format: Bible discussion, prayer, conversation
Frequency: Weekly or biweekly
Environment: Casual, honest, unforced
Bible: Central, open, explained
No pressure to speak. No pressure to pretend. Plenty of room to grow.
How to Join a Group
We don’t assign people randomly. We help you find your people.
Step 1 - Visit Chisenhall Fellowship on a Sunday morning
Step 2 - Look through the current Home Groups
Step 3 - Indicate your interest by either clicking “Request to Join” or “Contact” or you can speak to someone on a Sunday morning.
We will help connect you to a Home Group that fits your season of life.
Home Groups for Students
Our Student Ministry meets on Sunday nights in homes.
It’s built for middle school and high school students to:
Learn Scripture clearly
Ask real questions
Build friendships that reinforce faith
Parents are always welcome to ask questions or learn more.
